How to travel sustainably to Envirenergy North West

The Organisers would like to encourage all participants in the event to walk, cycle and use public transport where possible, as part of a healthy lifestyle.

By reducing travel by car this also helps to reduce congestion and pressure on car parking and benefits the environment by cutting down on noise and air pollution, including reducing carbon dioxide emissions which contribute to global warming.

If you require directions to Manchester United then choose the map and directions which matches your mode of transport.

Carbon Offsetting

Carbon Offset Scotland (COS) is delighted to be helping offset the carbon footprint of Envirenergy North West.  To help offset the carbon emissions created by the event they are planting a tree for every delegate attending.

All of the trees are planted as part of a woodland regeneration project in central Scotland which aims to restore farmland back to its original woodland state.  All trees planted are native to the area which in turn will encourage the regeneration of traditional wildlife habitats.

More details can be found at www.carbon-offset-scotland.com or by visiting them on exhibition stand 18 at the event.
